1\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>It is good to give thanks to the\u00a0Lord,
\nto sing praises to your name,\u00a0O Most High;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>to declare your\u00a0steadfast love in\u00a0the morning,
\nand your\u00a0faithfulness by\u00a0night,<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

3\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>to the music of\u00a0the lute and\u00a0the harp,
\nto the melody of\u00a0the lyre.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

4\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>For you, O\u00a0Lord, have made me glad by your\u00a0work;
\nat\u00a0the works of your hands I sing for joy.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

5\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>How\u00a0great are your works, O\u00a0Lord!
\nYour\u00a0thoughts are very\u00a0deep!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

6\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>The stupid man cannot know;
\n<\/span>the fool cannot understand this:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

7\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>that though\u00a0the wicked sprout like grass
\nand all\u00a0evildoers flourish,
\nthey are doomed to destruction forever;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

8\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>but you, O\u00a0Lord, are\u00a0on high forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

9\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>For behold, your enemies, O\u00a0Lord,
\nfor behold, your enemies shall perish;
\nall evildoers shall be\u00a0scattered.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

10\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>But <\/span>you have exalted my\u00a0horn like that of\u00a0the wild ox;
\n<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 you have\u00a0poured over me\u00a0fresh oil.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

11\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>My\u00a0eyes have <\/span>(I\u2019ve) seen the downfall of my enemies;
\n<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 my ears have <\/span>heard the doom of my <\/span>evil<\/span> assailants.<\/span><\/p>\n

12\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>(But) The righteous flourish like the palm tree
\nand grow like a cedar in Lebanon.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

13\u00a0<\/span><\/sup><\/b>They are planted in the house of the\u00a0Lord;
\nthey flourish in\u00a0the courts of our God.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

14\u00a0<\/span><\/sup><\/b>They still bear fruit in old age;
\nthey are ever full of sap and green,<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

15\u00a0<\/span><\/sup><\/b>to declare that the\u00a0Lord\u00a0is upright;
