1\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>Save, O\u00a0Lord, for\u00a0the godly one is gone;
\nfor the faithful have vanished from among the
\nchildren of man.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>Everyone\u00a0utters lies to his neighbor;
\nwith\u00a0flattering lips and\u00a0a double heart they speak.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

3\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>May the\u00a0Lord\u00a0cut off all\u00a0flattering lips,
\nthe tongue that makes\u00a0great boasts,<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

4\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>those who say, \u201cWith our tongue we will prevail,
\nour lips are with us; who is master over us?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

5\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>\u201cBecause\u00a0the poor are plundered, because the needy groan,
\nI will now arise,\u201d says the\u00a0Lord;
\n\u201cI will place him in the\u00a0safety for which he longs.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

6\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>The words of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0are pure words,
\nlike silver refined in a furnace on the ground,
\npurified seven times.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nyou will guard us\u00a0from this generation forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
